Cerberus helped Fabio Buzzi form part of the Red FPT crew that have been recently crowned 2010 UIM World Power Boat Marathon Champions!
Cowes - Torquay - Cowes - 50th Anniversary Power Boat Race Winners 2010
Cerberus were once again part of the winning team for the prestigious world offshore race, Cowes-Torquay-Cowes. Following the success in August 2008, Fabio and his team set out for victory for the special 50th anniversary edition of the race.
The Cowes-Torquay-Cowes is one of the most demanding and oldest endurance challenges in the world. Not only has Fabio now won this event four times, Cerberus have been involved on two of these occasions! The Red FPT, powered by four FPT engines producing 2400HP clinched the double victory with rolling 10ft seas.
The dominant victory, together with the victory in the Cowes 100 race meant Fabio and his team picked up the 2010 Harmsworth Trophy, originally commissioned by Sir Alfred Harmsworth in 1903. The victory was especially sweet as it was the 50th anniversary of the event
Cowes 100 - Power Boat Race Winners 2010
For the first time since the British PBRC was relaunched in 2008, the Cowes 100 race has been re-established. The first title was awarded to the world renowed Fabio Buzzi and his team that included Cerberus's Simon Powell!.
The Red Fiat powered FPT cruised to victory in 1 hour 32 minutes, a massive 15 minute lead over the second place boat of Powerboat Asia.

Cerberus was part of the winning team in a prestigious world offshore race, Cowes-Torquay-Cowes in August 2008. The team were successful in the Red FPT. They completed the race in 2 hours 18 minutes and 5 seconds, 4 seconds ahead of second place. Congratulations!
Fabio's intention was retire after the race, due to the success Fabio has decide not to retire! The legend continues...
